The Shadow of Love

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91: 1

All fullness of life comes from the Father, through the Son, in the power of the Holy Spirit. God created us in His image. We are three parts, spirit, soul and body.

When God created man, He had a plan in mind. He wanted relationship with us.
We will always be incomplete without His Spirit fully living within us. Thus, we long to be “One” with our Maker. Our spirit cries out for the new life found in Jesus Christ. Our soul yearns for comfort that comes only through the Holy Spirit. It is through the Holy Spirit that we encounter the manifest Presence of Father.
Like an echo in my conscience, I hear the heartbeat of the Father, “How long must I wait for you?” Knowing us intimately, He challenges us, “When will you cease from pleasing mankind and come to please Me? When will you turn from the things I have created and turn to me, your Creator?”
We are renewed in the Shadow of Love found only in the secret place.  It may be a closet or an unused bedroom. It may well be in our heart, if we cannot find a solitary room, away from the outside clatter and “cares of the world.” The secret place becomes our hiding place, our high tower. The place where hearts fall in love. It becomes a sacred place, set aside for union with God.
Our Father will meet you there. Father says, “Come!”
